About Mountain Pine Design

Mountain Pine Design is a web development firm based in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, just outside of Boulder, CO. Jason Lippa, the primary developer and proprietor, started Mountain Pine Design after leaving a larger corporate job. With an undergraduate degree in Computer Science he spent the first five years of his professional career with a major Defense Contractor developing Modeling and Simulation programs. He’s been doing web design and development for over 10 years and has worked with small firms to multi-national corporations.

Jason is at home in the mountains and it shows in his activities. As an avid snowboarder, cross-country skier, snowshoer, and ice hockey player by winter and cycler, mountain biker, hiker, camper, fisherman, and rock climber in the summer, he takes full advantage of his outdoor surroundings. In addition to athletics, he also has interests in photography and music (playing guitar, mandolin, bass, drums, a bit of piano and harmonica), and is always up for a ride through the mountains on his motorcycle. Needless to say, Jason keeps himself busy.
