Pathways To Prevention is a initiative by the pharmaceutical company, Lifebrands, based out of New York City. When contacted, they had already decided upon a site design and were looking for a PHP developer.

Mountain Pine Design's role in this development effort consisted primarily of back-end processing - interactions with databases; accepting, processing and transmitting user inputs; setting up and maintaining the site search utility at the top of the pages; and coding "tooltip" boxes in Javascript that pop up when the user hovers his or her mouse over a highlighted definition in the text body.
